Ashley Mallett & Bob “the Cat”

Legendary spin bowler Ashley Mallett will be visiting the UK in May and is available for after-dinner appearances and coaching. Ashley made 38 Test appearances for Australia and on his debut took the wicket of Colin Cowdrey with his fifth ball.

On retirement he became a much sought after coach and among his many successes was Graham Swann. In fact during the last Test series “Swanny” was in touch with him again

At the end of the series Swanny wrote to him: 

“I just thought I'd send you a quick email as I didn't see you again after Adelaide to say a huge thank you for all your coaching, support and friendship throughout my career.  Having a man with your knowledge and keen eye look out for me over the years has been invaluable for me. I have worked with many coaches over the years but you stand above

them all in your expertise of off spin bowling and I feel lucky to have met you and learned from you.”

Ashley has written 50 books and is an interesting and entertaining speaker.
