Canterbury Christ Church University is continuing its successful partnership with Kent County Cricket Club by becoming the sponsor of their Women’s team for the 2014 season.

The Kennington Cricket Club has been awarded a £40,000 grant and a £10,000 interest free loan from the England and Wales Cricket Trust (EWCT) towards the cost of a pavilion extension. The total project cost is approximately £145,000.

Sandwich Town Cricket Club is among 324 local sports projects to secure a share of £17 million of National Lottery funding from Sport England’s inspired Facilities fund.

Nearly sixty members of St Lawrence and Highland Court Cricket Club took part in this year’s NatWest CricketForce event, the England and Wales Cricket Board’s annual mass volunteering initiative aimed at rejuvenating the nation’s cricketing facilities.

Dartfordians CC were joined by the KCB Development Team for NatWest CricketForce 2014 and put on a fantastic and well supported day.
