Does the Spirit of Cricket Have a Place in Sport?

Do you remember the Ashes and ‘that incident’?  It sparked off another vigorous debate surrounding ‘The Spirit of Cricket’. The scene was the 3rd Day of the 2013 First Ashes Test match at Trent Bridge and the man in question was Stuart Broad who edged a ball from Ashton Agar and was caught by Michael Clarke at first slip.

Over 60s Claim Championship!

More silverware for the Kent Trophy Cabinet as the 60+ team won the Spitfire National Championship with a hard fought win by 12 runs over Wales at Oakham on 18th September. 

Both Kent 60+ teams have reached the finals of their National Competitions

The A team play Wales at Oakham CC on Wednesday 18th and the B team travel to Dunstable CC to play Yorkshire B on Tuesday 24th September.

Kent A and B Teams have reached their respective Spitfire County Championship Finals which is a wonderful achievement. However we need to go one step further.
