2014 OSCAs County Nominations

The NatWest OSCAs are the ECB’s Outstanding Service to Cricket Awards and are aimed at recognising and rewarding those volunteers who give so much of their time to the game of cricket.

It’s fair to say that cricket could not survive without its huge army of unsung heroes. It includes small gestures like making teas at a fundraiser, and bigger gestures like coaching the juniors of the team. No doubt there are some volunteers out there now who are coaching both County and England stars of the future. The NatWest OSCAs ceremony is held every year at Lord’s Cricket Ground and is attended by over 300 people. 2013 saw almost 400 nominations put forward from the counties for the seven different categories.

We would like you to nominate those volunteers working in your club that you feel deserve a special recognition. The categories for nominating volunteers this year are as follows:

• Behind the Scenes
• Building Partnerships
• Leagues and Boards
• Lifetime Achiever
• NatWest CricketForce
• Officials Award
• Young Volunteer (16-25 years old)

For further information on the categories please see our website: kentcricketboard.co.uk. The nomination form and Judging Criteria are included below.

They will also be put forward to the ECB NatWest OSCAs which takes place in October 2014 at Lord’s Cricket Ground. All nominees will receive certificates from the County Board.

Please return nominations to me at the Kent Cricket Board either by email () or post (at the address below) no later than Monday 14th July 2014.
