The Kwik Cricket festival season is almost upon us. The first of the District tournaments takes place on 20th May at Old Wilsonians Cricket Club, Bromley.

Please be aware that the Chance to Compete - Super Eights competition on the 7th of May, is now to be played at Three Hills Sports Park, Folkestone.

The official Kent Cricket Open Day is a unique occasion, when we invite all our loyal supporters to come and meet the Kent Cricket squad and take part in games and activities at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence.

The event is entirely free and the whole family are invited to join us between 11 and 1 on Sunday 27th April - and our team of Community Coaches will be on hand, running lots of drills!

We are delighted to inform all our member clubs of a new partnership with specialist Cricket Club insurance providers – InsuringSport.

Dates for both the Chance to Compete: Super Eights and Chance to Compete: Softball competition are open to entries.

Following on from 2013, all Secondary School competitions through KCB will be branded as Chance to Compete, an arm of the Chance to Shine programme. For more information on these competitions, visit the Schools/Competition area of the website.

England and Kent cricketers Charlotte Edwards and Lydia Greenway celebrated their recent Ashes win in Australia today (Monday, 10 February) by visiting pupils at Brunswick House Primary school in Maidstone.
