Please take a look at the information below and the attached flyer from our colleagues at Rigby Taylor regarding safe storage of chemicals at Cricket Clubs.

The HSE local inspectors have been reported to be taking a closer look at storage of Chemical and Fuels, particularly at small sports clubs and Schools and at places of work in urban and rural areas.

NWCF 2014 - St Lawrence and Highland Court CC

Nearly sixty members of St Lawrence and Highland Court Cricket Club took part in this year’s NatWest CricketForce event, the England and Wales Cricket Board’s annual mass volunteering initiative aimed at rejuvenating the nation’s cricketing facilities.

Thanks to ECB and Jewsons for their support of the club, they managed to lay 20 tons of Type 1 in the car park, chipped a lorry load of tree cuttings, painted the entire clubhouse and still managed to find time for a BBQ.
