Kwik Cricket Competition

Kwik Cricket is a fun and simple way for kids to learn to play cricket. Last year the competition got nearly 140,000 kids from 12,000 schools playing together, making friends and staying healthy.

The aim of the tournament is to provide children of all levels of ability and experience with an opportunity to participate in cricket and to encourage fair play by all.

The Tournament is open to State Primary and Middle Schools throughout England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

The Girls Competition is open only to girls being taught in year group 6 or under. The Year 5 Competition is open to all pupils being taught in year group 5 or under. The Year 6 Competition is open to all pupils being taught in year group 6 or under.

Counties are allowed to make their own decision on permitting independent schools to enter their own county competitions, but only on the strict condition that those schools are informed PRIOR to entry that once past the county final the competition is open to state schools only. It is vital that any independent schools taking part must be made aware of this before they agree to enter.

Information for 2014 competition will appear here soon.
